HAPPINESS VS MONEY VS TIME (10/3/2020)

Save for 20 years and get a house in London or wake up to beautiful beaches and sunsets year in year out? There is honestly no right or wrong but be open to alternative paths in life.

Don’t do things just because everyone around you suggests it’s the thing to do. Ask yourself if you are truly happy and if not, look for another path. Life is too short. You might try and fail or try and succeed, but at least try. Then you won’t live in regret. In that 9 to 5 bubble, everyone has many dreams but you end up too tired week in week out and they remain dreams forever. Be different. Even if you are working, do a small thing each week towards that ultimate goal of HAPPINESS not just money. For some it may be a comfortable home in London with a nice family, for others something different. But at least work it out for yourself using your own brain.

The number of people that told me I would fail and had to get a proper job … I took my own risks and developed a skill but honestly forever indebted to my parents for supporting me fully. It might still fail but I will never have a regret that I didn’t try (maybe other regrets). Time and money is not wasted on experiences and that I swear by.

Human brains are wired to be pessimistic and people just seem to prepare for failure and assume the worst… We work all our lives just in case we might struggle financially in old age. But then isn’t your whole life until then a struggle. If you back yourself to make money now, why not in a few years? If things work out as we all plan (to be financially well off and very comfortable) TRUST ME, WE WILL ALL REGRET HAVING WORKED THOUSANDS OF EXTRA HOURS FOR MONEY WE CAN’T EVEN SPEND.

TIME will never come back and the chance to experience the world and try new things won’t be around in the same way by this point.

Life is way too short for this London philosophy of enjoy your hard work when you’ve become successful at 50 years old. What nonsense. Find a balance. Work hard but take breaks and experience things while you’re still young and able. Been living this life for 10 years and I have never written a CV. Nothing is impossible.

Stay humble. Be grateful. Show gratitude. Live your own dream
